Welcome to our choir. We do not have a handbook but you will find useful information on this page and in other places on this website.

Fees
We have no set fees but ask members to contribute to the running costs of the choir. You can pay by cash, card or standing order. We encourage you to pay by standing order as this helps us to predict our income more precisely. As a charity (application in progress) we also ask you to consider Gift Aid. For every £1 we receive we can claim 25p from HM Revenue and Customs. This is a valuable way of increasing our income. Our running costs include fees for our music director, accompanist, music, heating, website, equipment and so on.

Rehearsals
We meet each week in term time on Tuesdays between 7.30 and 8.30pm at St Agnes Church, Cawston. Keep a lookout for any changes to our schedule on the homepage. We welcome both children and adults to our choir but children have to be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Music
We provide all the music you will need but we do ask you to take care of it as it is expensive to replace. You will be given a handout when you join on how we expect you to take care of our music. If you lose music or it is badly damaged we reserve the right to ask you to pay for a replacement.

Performances
We do take part in events for the public but there is no compulsion to take part. They are informal occasions and provide a chance for us to sing to others and show what kind of music we perform.

Code of conduct
CCC is a community choir open to everyone. We aim to promote an atmosphere of friendship, respect and care for each other. In particular we aim to treat every one equally and are committed to encouraging equality, diversity, and inclusion in our choir. More information on this can be found in our policy document on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

Policy documents
All our policy documents are public facing and can be requested at any time. They will all be made available on the website soon.
