In late 2021, the church in Cawston organised a Christmas Community Choir to support the village's festive celebrations. The response was amazing with between 20 and 30 people coming to rehearsals and then singing around the village and at the church carol service.
After Christmas the majority of people wanted to continue with the singing and we now meet weekly singing a wide variety of music including songs from the musicals, folk songs, Christmas songs and popular music songs. We continue to perform to the public in a number of venues in the village and beyond.
We also support two small choirs at Cawston Primary School. We feel it is important to nurture a love of music which in turn contributes to their learning and their physical and emotional wellbeing.
